It’s getting cold
You know winter is on its way when they are announcing freezing rain. We may not have snow yet but the cold weather is sure here. In the morning you could easily wear your winter coat but come late afternoon is still warm enough for light jacket. If you have your winter coat you kind of roast.
However this cold weather means we’ll be getting snow soon, yeah. I love snow. I’m not much of a skier but I’m thinking of updating my cross country ski equipment this winter. I’ve been debating this for the past few years, but haven’t had the finances to go through with it. This year I may just say the heck with it and just get it all. There are tons of trails within 30 minutes drive of where I live. All I’d need after that is snow and good weather.

Sounds nice. We had a cold streak for about a week or so. It was a Houston cold streak, though, meaning evenings in the 30-40 degree range and 70 degree days. Perfect to light the fireplace. It warmed up again after Thanksgiving, though.

Ok Tracy that’s sooo hot compared to here. It’s below zero at night and barely above it during the day. I’d take your cold streak any time when we don’t have snow. However once we have snow I want to keep it and will go with the cold weather.

And I’ll be baking in the sun! Still in the 80sF in Honolulu. Rainy season should start any day now. Temps will stay the same though. The Princelings are blocking the a/c!

You know come mid January I’ll wish to live where both of you do but right now I’d love to have some snow. It just doesn’t feel like Christmas without it.
