Go Sens GO!!!
I‘m not usually a hockey fan.  However I always support my local team, the Ottawa Senators.  So for the first time since the team came back to life in 1992 and since our last trip to the Stanley Cup finals in 1927 (where we won the cup), The Ottawa Senators have made the finals. Â
I’d love to say I’ll be going to the games live. The thing is that our stadium isn’t downtown like most cities. Ours is outside of town, on the other side of the city.  It’s about an hours drive from my home. The second obstacle to me going to a game is the price of a ticket. I can just bet the tickets are going to be astronomical and with scheduled trips to Dallas and Halifax in the next few months I can’t afford them.
However I will be listening or watching them on TV and cheering them on.

I went to Halifax about 15 years ago. It’s a little colder but gorgeous and the people are sooo nice and friendly. I’m planning on going to the Word On The Street with my publisher and see a few musuems like the ones about the explosion and War Brides.
You should definitely make the trip Morag. You are going to love it and on the way stop at my place. You and your husband are always welcome.
