I spent the last week and a half doing my second set of edits for DEADLY SECRETS. My first set of edits were quite long because I had a lot of changes to make. The manuscript hadn’t been touched in close to 5 years old. My writing has changed, I like to think it has improved, in that time.

I have to say that I found it hard towards the end of my second edits. Not doing the edits but letting go of the manuscript. It may sound weird to some but I started writing DEADLY SECRETS over 14 years ago. The manuscript was the first one I sent out to editors and agents. We got many a refusals together. So it shouldn’t surprise me that I’m finding it hard to let go. That said I am looking forward to seeing it in print.
