This is just such a shame. I just read in my Publisher’s Lunch that Borders Group Inc has decided to close another 200 or so Waldenbooks in January. They estimate that 1,500 jobs will be eliminating. They say it’s mostly part-time. I don’t know about anyone else but part timers are mostly students who need the hours and the income.

I feel like running to the closest Waldenbooks here and dumping my whole pay check in it. However I know that won’t be the solution, but still what else can we do.

I can’t help but feel for all those part-timers who are going to be out of a job.
