My wonderful publisher, LBF Books, received late last week the logo from the American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF).  I also got permission to put it up on my site. Since I can’t wait until my web mistress put it up I am putting it in my blog today.

Isn’t it beautiful? I certainly believe it is.

I can hardly believe it. My book has qualified as a sponsor for the American Breast Cancer Foundation. This is fabulous! I have read so many great things about this organization and how many women they have helped over the years. I’m thrilled to be associated with them. My publisher is right now making arrangements. Their logo will be going on the spine of my book. YEAH!

My goal is still the same, to make my first donation to them be over three digits, which would mean over $100. Please help me by purchasing a copy of DEADLY SECRETS.

Here I am in my hotel room in NJ. After 9 hour drive we finally made it yesterday. Maureen did all the driving so it was a great ride for me. However Mapquest directions were off and we lost about 15-30 minutes going around in circles on back roads. Good thing Maureen brought Google directions, they were much better.

The best part was getting a call during the drive letting me know that the American Breast Cancer Foundation has agreed to let LBF Books be a sponsor and use their logo on the spine of my book. I’m thrilled! I still intended to give them the funds even if they had refused, but now that they have agreed I’m thrilled!

I’ve already met with the CEO of LBF Books and editor in chief of Lachesis Publishing and Sinful Moments Press. So it’s been a productive morning. This afternoon there will be workshops and then a ceremony/gala hosted by the NJ chapter. This should be fun. I’ll blog all about it tomorrow.

I’m happy to announce that my first book DEADLY SECRETS is now available for pre-orders at LBF Books, my publishers website. I am planning a nice launch on December 6 and a family thing on Nov 29. I can’t wait to get my hands on some copies. I have waited 14 years for this to happen.

 Please help me raise funds for Breast Cancer research and pay for mammograms for women who can’t afford to get one. How can you do this? By purchasing a copy of DEADLY SECRETS. I will be donating at least 50% of all my royalties and my publisher will be donating proceeds as well. Together I believe we can make a difference.

I have high sales goals for my book. Some might say too high, but I don’t. Why aim low and be satisfied with mediocrity when you can get more. I am aiming high and plan on attaining my goal, every single one of them.

Here are my goals

• Before my release date of December 8 2008 I want to sell 100 print copies of DEADLY SECRETS
• I want to have sold by Jan 2009 250 copies of my books in electronic and print format
• Within 12 months of its release I want to sell 1,000 copies
• Within 18-24 monthsof its release I want to sell 2,500 copies

I have asked my webmistress to install a thermometer on this blog so I can show you how close I am to meeting my goal. Please help me achieve it by asking your local library to order a copy of DEADLY SECRETS.
